Google is reportedly all set to release Android Wear 2.0 to the public on February 9th along with two new smartwatches from LG. While we have heard quite a bit about these LG-made smartwatches, it is only now that we get to have our first look at them.
While the leaked photos are grainy, they still give us a good look at the design of the two smartwatches. The smaller of the two watches pictured above is the LG Watch Style. It will feature a 1.2-inch circular display with 320 x 320 resolution. It will also feature a 240mAh battery and 512MB RAM. As for the larger smartwatch, it will presumably be called the LG Watch Sport and feature a 1.38-inch circular display with 480 x 480 resolution. Other specs include 768MB RAM and 430mAh battery.
It is evident from the blurry pic that the LG Watch Sport will feature two buttons and a crown, while the smaller Watch Style will only feature a crown similar to that of the Apple Watch. Both smartwatches seem to be made out of metal and will likely ship with a variety of straps.
It will be interesting to see how these LG-made smartwatches differ from previous Android Wear smartwatches that we have seen so far. While some of them look gorgeous, none of them have actually managed to set the sales chart on fire and won over consumers with their functionality.
