On Thursday, February 26, Sprint confirmed that it will be launching its first Android-powered, LG-branded tablet on March 13.
The tablet in question, LG’s G Pad F 7.0, will be available on the Now Network beginning in mid-March and will be available for free when it’s coupled not only with a new, two-year contract, but also for a customer that has an active Sprint smartphone. There has to be a data plan on the tablet’s line as well. However, if you prefer to avoid the contract, Sprint’s Easy Pay means you can get the G Pad F 7.0 for $0 down and $10 payments every month for 24 months.
The features of the G Pad F 7.0 are as follows:
- 7-inch 1280×800 display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core 1.2GHz processor
- 5MP rear camera; 1.2MP front-facing camera
- 8GB of built-in storage; microSD card slot
- 1GB of RAM
- Android 5.0 Lollipop
- 4000mAh battery
The white version will be available on March 13, but the black variant won’t be available until April 10.
