Why trust Greenbot
First came the Apple iWatch rumors. Then came the Samsung statement that a watch is being worked on. Earlier today there was the Google smart watch rumor from The Financial Times. And now, according to The Korea Times, LG is working on a watch of their own.
When will it come out? How much will it cost? What does it look like? No idea. There’s also some confusion as to what operating system it’ll run. It’s a toss up between Android and Firefox OS. Here’s hoping it’s the former.
Expect to hear more about all of this stuff during the latter half of the year. It’s too early now to launch a new product category. Companies want to build a lot of hype and turn on the marketing machine right before the holiday quarter kicks off.
