The LG V40 ThinQ saw its fair share of leaks before it was officially confirmed by LG itself — ahead of today’s announcement event.

And most of those leaks turned out to be the real deal. That includes the V40 ThinQ boasting a total of five cameras: three on the back and two on the front. As expected, there is a notch at the top of the display, but LG is including a software feature to hide it if a future owner so desires. There is glass on the front and glass on the back, with aluminum along the side.

The V40 ThinQ boasts a 6.4-inch OLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood, and 6GB of RAM. The handset has 64GB of built-in storage, but that can be expanded upon with a microSD card. The handset has a 32-bit Quad DAC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Qi wireless charging support, a USB-C port for wired charging, “boombox speaker” feature for louder audio with the built-in speakers, and IP68-rated for water and dust resistance. A slight against the brand new flagship is the fact that the V40 ThinQ is running Android Oreo out of the box, and the Life’s Good crew won’t commit to an upgrade timeline to Android 9.0 Pie. The battery measures in at 3300mAh.

As for the cameras, there is the standard 12-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/1.5. That is paired with a 16MP super-wide-angle lens with an f/1.9 aperture and a 12MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture. Meanwhile, around front, there is an 8-megapixel camera and a 5MP wide-angle lens.

The LG V40 ThinQ preorders start on Friday, October 12. It goes on sale on Tuesday, October 16. It will be priced at $900 or more, depending on your carrier of choice. U.S. Cellular, for instance, has it priced at $900, but Verizon’s model is priced at $980.
