LG today officially unveiled a new version of its Quick Cover case for its yet to be announced flagship phone, the LG G5.

Compared to previous Quick Cover offerings from the Korean company, the latest iteration of its Quick Cover for the LG G5 offers improved functionality, including the new Quick Cover view. The case now comes with a transparent mesh look in the front — similar to HTC’s DotView case — and now also allows users to take calls and control alarm settings without opening the case.

Additionally, users can also see the time, date and notifications without opening the cover on their LG G5 with the Quick Cover case installed on it.

LG states in its press release that it has added a unique film to its latest Quick Cover case that gives it a smooth and luxurious metallic finish that is inline with how the G5 will be.

LG is set to unveil the G5 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 21.
