Back in February, LG announced its newest flagship smartphone, the G8 ThinQ (along with other handsets).
Unfortunately, while the Life’s Good crew was prepared to reveal the new smartphone, they weren’t so forthcoming about a release date or pricing. But now, almost at the end of March, we finally have our answers. LG has confirmed that the G8 ThinQ will launch in the United States, on all the major wireless carriers, on Thursday, April 11.
When it arrives, Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon will welcome the handset into their ranks. In addition to that, both U.S. Cellular and Xfinity Mobile in the U.S. will add the handset on launch day. If you prefer to shop from Best Buy and/or B&H Photo, the G8 ThinQ will be available on April 11.
Pre-orders will begin on Friday, March 29. Pricing starts at $819.99.
The LG G8 ThinQ features a 6.1-inch OLED display, boasting Crystal Sound OLED tech that makes the front display serve as a front-facing speaker. There is a Snapdragon 855 processor under the hood, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of built-in storage. It also offers a microSD card slot for expandable storage. The battery measures in at 3500mAh, and it’s running Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
What do you think of the G8 ThinQ from LG? Planning on picking it up?
