The LG G5 is one of the devices that’s expected to take much of the attention on Sunday, February 21, when the Life’s Good crew finally unveils the handset.
That hasn’t stopped the leaks, though. Just recently we were privy to a look at the removable battery in the upcoming handset, thanks to its Magic Slot. And we’ve seen the device leaked in the wild, showing off its design that seems at least a little inspired by the G3 before it, at least as far as the front of the handset is concerned.
Now, Evan Blass (@evleaks) has released a pair of renders for the new device, showing off the front and back of the G5 in a non-blurry image. It’s the silver model, it seems, and the front of the handset definitely harkens back to the G3 with that bottom bezel. On the back we can see the Power button and fingerprint reader, as well as the dual-camera system near the top-edge. The volume buttons are there on the side, too.
The LG G5 may be ditching the rear volume keys, but with the inclusion of the Magic Slot for accessories, the company is still focused on unique designs for its smartphones, it seems.
Are you looking forward to the G5?
