LG today sent out a press release to inform potential customers that the G4 will be available in key markets starting from this week.
The rollout of the handset will continue throughout June that will see it being available across more than 180 different retailers and carriers.
The G4 will be first available in Hong Kong followed by rollouts in Turkey, Russia, Singapore, and “eventually” most of Europe, North America, South East Asia, Middle East and other regions of the world.
“The LG G4 is our most ambitious smartphone yet because it is unlike any other flagship mobile phone on the market today,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Our vision is to create our own set of standards without worrying about what trend other smartphones are following. We think we have a winning formula because the initial reaction to the G4 has been tremendously positive.”
LG had announced the G4 late last month. The handset comes with a 5.5-inch “Quantum” IPS Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 3000mAh removable battery, a 16MP rear camera with F/1.8 aperture and OIS 2.0, and a 8MP front shooter.
The device is already up for sale in LG’s home country, South Korea.
