LG G4, premium in almost every way

LG India has begun taking pre-orders for the new LG G4 ahead of its local launch in mid-June. Prices start at Rs. 51,500 if you wish to purchase directly from LG, and one lucky customer will have their handset delivered by Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.

The G4 will also come with a number of free gifts if purchased before June 15, including a one-time screen replacement should you break your device (worth Rs. 6,500), an extra battery and charging cradle (worth Rs. 3,500), and an additional metallic finish back cover (worth Rs. 2,000).

It seems LG will offer the dual-SIM version of the G4 in India, NDTV Gadgets reports, and the device will start at Rs. 51,500 when bought from LG. However, some third-party retailers are offering it for around Rs. 49,999.

The dual-SIM version of the G4 is identical to the original single-SIM version inside and out, with the same 5.5-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It also boasts the same 16-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture.
