Sprint has already confirmed that the LG G4 will go on sale soon for the Now Network, and T-Mobile is throwing in a free 128GB microSD card with its variant.
Now, Verizon is adding to the mix, with the major wireless carrier officially announcing that the newest flagship smartphone from LG will go up for pre-order on Thursday, May 28. On June 4, for those that don’t want to order online, it will go on sale in Verizon’s physical retail stores. It will be available in Ceramic White, Black Leather and Metallic Gray.
As far as pricing is concerned, the contract-free LG G4 will run subscribers $549.99. Through Verizon Edge, the carrier’s monthly installment plan, it will cost the buyer $22.91 per month for 24 months. Verizon doesn’t make any mention of what the G4 costs on a two-year contract, but the safest bet is $199.99.
Verizon is launching an LG-branded tablet, too, called the G Pad X8.3, which features a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 16GB of built-in storage, an 8MP camera on the back and a 2MP front-facing camera on the other side. Verizon Wireless says the tablet will typically retail for $299.99 without a contract, but for anyone that buys a G4 they can pick up the tablet at the same time for $49.99.
