Over the past few weeks, we’ve encountered the hardware specs sheet of the LG G3 on several occasions. Although initial rumors claimed that the next LG flagship will feature the Snapdragon 805 chipset, logic suggested otherwise, as the chipset wasn’t expected to go into production until May. But a new report has again hinted that the smartphone could indeed feature the said processor.
This report comes from an insider source and further suggests that the handset will feature a polycarbonate body and not metal as previously believed. This along with a 5.5 inch 2K resolution display, 32GB of internal storage (expandable), a 3,200 mAh battery and a 13-megapixel OIS+ camera (Sony IMX124 Exmor RS). The battery efficiency will be reportedly boosted by software customization, much like Samsung and HTC did with their flagships.
The smartphone is expected to be announced in just under three weeks from now at simultaneous press events across the globe. We expect the LG G3 to build substantial interest when it breaks cover in global markets, and the hype generated prior to the launch will help greatly.
