Evleaks is at it again, this time showing us what appears to be the back of the LG G3. While we have seen the handset several times already, the title here says that it won’t be a fingerprint magnet accompanied by what appears to be a metal body. It’s unclear if the G3 will actually feature a metal body, but the image surely suggests so.
If there’s one complaint with modern flagships, it’s the poly carbonate or plastic body that they sport, with the exception of the HTC One M8 of course. However, if LG is able to get rid of that with its new flagship, it could do wonders for the company.
Of course we only have access to this image at the moment, so it’s also possible that LG is using a metallic paint to give a similar feel, so don’t get your hopes up just yet. But it’s welcoming news that LG is looking to make the G3 a better device even in terms of looks and not only with internal hardware.
The handset is rumored to feature a 5.5 inch 2K resolution display, a 13-megapixel camera with OIS+ as well as Android 4.4 KitKat. Other features include the Snapdragon 801 quad core SoC, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
