More than a month after its initial unveiling, LG has finally released the G3 in India at an event in Mumbai.
The 16GB version with 2GB of RAM has an MRP of Rs. 47,990 while the 32GB/3GB variant will set users back by Rs. 50,990. The device will be available in 3 colors — Metallic Black, Silk White and Gold Shine.
LG is also bundling quite a lot of goodies with the retail package including a Quick Circle case worth Rs. 3,500, a discount of Rs. 5,000 for anyone who decides on buying the G Watch along with the handset and a voucher of Rs. 6,500 for one-time screen replacement.
LG will also be releasing 15000 units of a limited edition G3 bearing the signature of superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
The specs of the handset remain the same as its international sibling which includes a Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5Ghz, an Adreno 330 GPU, a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and a 13MP OIS+ shooter accompanied with an LaserAF sensor. There is also a 3000mAh removable battery and support for Qi wireless charging, which the U.S. variants lack.
