LG G3 Beat

For owners of the G3 from LG that live up in the Great White North, there’s an incoming software update that should be a welcomed addition.

LG Canada has confirmed that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is now technically available for all LG G3s in the region. Unfortunately, while the official release confirms the update’s availability, it doesn’t say when carrier-branded variants of the G3 will be given the over-the-air update. That means carriers like Fido, Rogers, Bell and Sasktel can technically upgrade their G3 variants, but as usual this could take some time to actually start rolling out to subscribers.

LG recently released the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to its G3 lineup in Europe.
