LG G Pad III 10.1

It has been over a year since LG announced the G Pad II 10.1, but now the company is back with its successor.

The Life’s Good crew has officially announced the G Pad III 10.1 FHD LTE, the follow-up to last year’s model. It features a 10.1-inch 1920×1200 display, an octa-core processor under the hood paired up with 2GB of RAM. There is 32GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot, 4G LTE connectivity, and the battery is measured in at 6,000mAh. It has a USB Type-C port for charging, and it’s running Android 6.0.1 out of the box, under its proprietary software.

It has a kickstand, too.

LG’s customized features in the software department including being able to transform the tablet into a digital photo frame, a bed-side clock, or a tabletop calendar. A new Reader Mode will reduce the blue light from the display, which will make it easier to read in low light.

As it stands, LG has confirmed the G Pad III 10.1 for South Korea, where it will retail for 429,000 Won, or about $361 USD. There’s no word yet if it will make it to other markets.
