Earlier in August, LG officially introduced the G Pad II 8.0 on its Korean website. Now, it’s time for the larger tablet to get officially debuted.

The Life’s Good crew has made the G Pad II 10.1 official on August 23, introducing a brand new Android-based tablet with a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080. That display comes with a nice trick, though: LG says the G Pad II 10.1 can minimize the blue light on the tablet’s display brightness to make reading content even easier.

It also features Dual Window, which will allow owners to run two apps next to one another at the same time. There’s also QuickMemo+, which will let users create and save notes on the fly.

Inside, there’s a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.26GHz, and 2GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot for more storage when necessary. The battery is measured in at 7400mAh, and it’s running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with LG’s custom interface on top of it. There’s a 5MP camera on the back, with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera on the other side.

One notable difference from the G Pad II 8.0? There’s no full-sized USB port like the smaller tablet has, which is an interesting difference to say the least.

LG says they’ll show off the new G Pad II 10.1 at IFA in September, and that the tablet will go on sale in “key markets” in North America, Asia and Europe, but when that will be, and how much it will cost, remain to be announced.
