Why trust Greenbot
According to C|Net, LG is going to hold an event on the 7th of August in New York City. There is no fancy invitation image, no teasers, nothing.
If I had to take a guess at what they’ll be showing off, I’d say it’s going to be the LG Optimus G2. It would be perfect timing too since IFA Berlin kicks off on September 6th, so that would give LG’s new phone a whole month in the spotlight.
The really big question, as always with LG, is when will their phone actually ship? And I’m not talking about Korea, I mean United States, Europe, and major Asian markets. LG has a habit of announcing the “world’s first” something, but then stumbling in actually bringing said something to market.
