Rolly Keyboard 2

LG has announced the Rolly Keyboard 2 for its home market, South Korea. This is a followup to the original Rolly Keyboard Bluetooth accessory for mobile devices. The keyboard quickly unfurls to give access to a standard keyboard as well as a built-in dock to allow for easier typing on smartphones and tablets.

Unlike its predecessor, the Rolly Keyboard 2 gives the traditional five rows of keys instead of four. There is now also a tab to make the rolling up and opening of the keyboard much easier. The included dock supports smartphones that are up to 4-inches wide, with the keyboard now being able to connect and switch seamlessly between up to 3 Bluetooth devices.

The Rolly Keyboard 2 requires one AAA battery to power it, and LG estimates that it should last 3 months for most users. The keyboard is compatible with Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows Phones. It is 274 x 31.7 x 30.7 mm and weighs 161g, or about as much as a smartphone.

They Rolly Keyboard 2 is expected to retail at 129,000 South Korean Won which works out as $112. However, for those wanting it outside of South Korea, LG is yet to announce its intentions of selling the keyboard in the international market, so you might have to look at other means to get your hands on one.
