Ahead of CES 2017 early next year, LG has announced a bunch of mid-range budget-oriented smartphones. The refreshed K series of handsets from LG now come with wide-angle selfie camera and other goodies that are usually found on the company’s flagship handsets. 

The new K10 from LG now features a 5.3-inch In-cell Touch Display with 720p resolution. Powered by a MediaTek octa-core chip running at 1.5GHz, the handset features 2GB RAM, 16/32GB of storage, microSD card slot, and a 2800mAh removable battery. Impressively, the 7.9mm thin handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and features a fingerprint scanner at its rear.

The K8 is a new addition to LG’s K series and features a 5-inch 720p display. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon chip running at 1.4GHz and packs 1.5GB RAM, 16GB storage, and a 2500mAh removable battery. Lastly, the other two new addition to the K series from LG are the K4 and K3. Both handsets feature a quad-core Snapdragon processor running at 1.1GHz. While the K4 sports a 4-inch FWVGA display, the K3 sports a 4.5-inch display with the same resolution. The two handsets are aimed at the very bottom of the budget segment and come with only 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage.

In addition to its new K series of handsets, LG also announced the Stylus 3. Known as the Stylo in the United States, the Stylus 3 comes with a new fiber-tip stylus to provide an experience that is very similar to an actual pen. LG has also updated its software to take advantage of the stylus by adding new features like Pen Keeper, Screen-off memo, and Pen Pop 2.0.

LG did not announce the pricing or availability of any of its new mid-range handsets, but we should see the company provide more details on that front at CES early next year.
