Lenovo has just announced its new flagship phone for the second half of this year — the Vibe Z2 Pro. The device is only 7.7mm thin and comes with a metallic “brushed weave unibody design” and extremely narrow top and bottom bezels.
It also comes with a massive 6-inch Quad HD resolution screen giving it a pixel density of 490ppi. Other specs of the device include a Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, an Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM and a 16MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation.
A monster 4000mAh battery powers the device, which should be more than enough for it to last a day.
On the connectivity side, the Z2 Pro comes with dual-SIM and 4G LTE connectivity along with the usual bunch of stuffs like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Out of the box, the Z2 Pro will be running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Lenovo’s Vibe UI 2.0 on top of it.
The phablet will be available from September in selected markets in a trio of colors — black, gold and white — at a price that will be revealed closer to its launch.
