Lenovo today launched the Vibe K5 Note in India, successor to the popular Vibe K4 Note. Alongside it, the company also surprised many by launching an updated variant of the Vibe K5 Plus with more RAM.
The Vibe K5 Note features a unibody metal design, a first for Lenovo’s Vibe Note series of handsets. The front of the handset houses a 5.5-inch Full HD panel that is flanked by capacitive navigation keys sitting below it. Inside the Vibe K5 Note is MediaTek’s latest mid-range chipset, the Helio P10. This octa-core chip features eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and Mali T860 MP2 GPU clocked at 550MHz.

Lenovo will be offering the Vibe K5 Note in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. The 3GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 11,999, while the 4GB RAM variant will set you back by Rs. 13, 499. In addition with the handset, Lenovo is also bundling its ANT VR headset with it for a launch day price of Rs. 500. It is also offering a Theatermax Controller that it has designed in association with Amkette for Rs. 500. The usual price of both accessories will be Rs. 1299 and Rs. 999, when purchased separately. The Vibe K5 Note will go on an open sale in India through Flipkart from August 3rd at 11:59pm.
As for the Vibe K5 Plus, it will still be sold for Rs. 8499, but it now comes with 3GB of RAM and a microSD card slot that supports cards of up to 128GB.
