Last month at Mobile World Congress, Lenovo launched the Vibe K5 Plus. Today, the company has launched the smartphone in India, which will be sold exclusively through Flipkart in the country.
The handset is essentially a rebranded a Lemon 3 — the moniker under which it is sold in China.
The 8.2mm thin handset sports a 5-inch Full HD display, and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor and an Adreno 405 GPU. Other specs of the handset include 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, and a 2,750mAh battery.
The rear of the K5 Plus comes with a 13MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture, and the front comes with a 5MP f/2.8 aperture camera. The handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, with Lenovo’s Vibe UI running on top of it.
Lenovo will be offering the Vibe K5 Plus in three colors: Platinum Silver, Champagne Gold and Graphite Gray. The handset will go on sale exclusively through Flipkart from March 23 for Rs. 8,499.
