After months of waiting, Lenovo has started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Lenovo K6 Power and K6 Note in India. The handsets were launched in December last year running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Nougat update will bring all the new features that Google introduced with the OS to the phones including quickly switching between two open apps, split-view multi-window multitasking, improved battery life with Doze on the Go, built-in Data Saver mode, a revamped notification shade, and more.
The 700MB+ update is being rolled out in stages to owners of K6 Power and K6 Note in the country. However, owners who have already received the update are complaining about 4G connectivity issues, poor signal strength, and frequent call drops.
Lenovo will likely soon roll out another software update for the K6 Power and K6 Note in the coming months to fix the bugs being reported by users post the Nougat update.
