Following months of rumors and speculation about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S2, pictures of the device have finally leaked out ahead of its official debut. The slate sports an all-new design inspired by the new Galaxy S6, with a sleek aluminum frame that’s less than 6mm thick.
The photo comes from ever-reliable leaker @OnLeaks, and it appears to be one of the images Samsung will distribute to the press when the Galaxy Tab S2 makes its debut. The device is expected to measure 237.17mm tall, 169.58mm wide, and between 5.8 and 5.9mm thick.
According to benchmarks that leaked out back in February, the Galaxy Tab S2 will boast an octa-core Exynos 5 processor, ARM Mali-T760 graphics, and 3GB of RAM. The device is also expected to have a 7-megapixel camera on its back, and a 2-megapixel camera on its front.
This 9.7-inch model will also boast a Quad HD (2560×1440) Super AMOLED display.
We still don’t know when the Galaxy Tab S2 will be announced by Samsung, but it should arrive sometime this summer. If Samsung is already preparing press photos, it shouldn’t be too far away.
