A leaked promotional poster appears to have revealed the design and price tag for the upcoming OnePlus X ahead of its official unveiling on Thursday, October 29. The handset sports what looks like a high-end form factor, with an all-glass front and metal frame.
Both the OnePlus One and the OnePlus 2 are affordable devices, but they still pack high-end specifications, like the latest Qualcomm CPUs and ample RAM. The OnePlus X is expected to be the first midrange device in the lineup, with an even more affordable price tag to match.
But that doesn’t mean it will be any less exciting. Some rumors have claimed the OnePlus X will offer a 5-inch display with Full HD resolution, a Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot.
Other reports have promised a MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 2GB of RAM, and an infrared blaster that will allow you to use the device as a remote control. The OnePlus X is also expected to have a 13-megapixel camera on its back, and an 8-megapixel camera on its front.
The pictures we’ve already seen of the OnePlus X so far suggest it will look similar to an iPhone 4 or iPhone 4s, with glass panels on its front and its back, and a sturdy metal frame with integrated antenna bands holding everything together.
The leaked poster above seems to confirm that, and suggests the OnePlus X will start at 1,699 yuan in China, which roughly converts to $267 in U.S. dollars. This lines up with previous reports that claimed the device will cost around $250.
We cannot confirm this poster is genuine until OnePlus makes the OnePlus X official, so bear in mind that it could be inaccurate. But with the handset’s unveiling right around the corner, it’s certainly possible this leak could be spot on.
