We have heard plenty of reports up that LG will be making the next Nexus handset along with Huawei this year. However, actual information about the specs of the LG made Nexus have remained mysterious until now.
Now, famed leaker @onleaks, has posted some key information about the LG made Nexus on Twitter. According to him, LG’s Nexus handset will likely feature a metal body and will be 9.8mm thick. The handset will come with a 5.2-inch display that will be flanked by a speaker at the bottom and top. It will also feature a fingerprint sensor on the back and feature a USB Type-C port.

He also revealed that the Huawei made Nexus will feature the same set of gizmos (fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port etc.), but will come with a 5.7-inch screen. Key details about the processor, battery and camera specs of both handsets remain unknown for now, though.
While all other OEMs have already shifted to using a metallic chassis on their devices, LG has continued to use plastic as its choice of material for its devices. The company has confirmed that it will be launching a ‘super premium’ smartphone later this year with a metallic build, which makes it unlikely that the next Nexus from the company will also feature a metallic build, especially when it is likely going to be sold for $400-$450. .
