The LG G3 is still a more than a couple of weeks away from being unveiled officially, but it has already been leaked numerous times over the last few weeks. Interestingly, the last leak from @evleaks suggested that the G3 might come with a metal finished back.
Today, the folks over at PhoneAreana have received another image that shows off the back of the G3 with a brushed metal-like back, as seen on the HTC One (M8).
It is tough to confirm from the above image if the G3 is actually going to come with a metal back that is removable or if it is just another glossy plastic finish. The image also confirms that the G3 will also be coming in gold, as evident from the device shown in top the image and leaked previously.
The LG G3 is confirmed to sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with even less bezels than the G2. Other leaked specs of the handset include a Snapdragon 801 processor, 2/3GB of RAM, a microSD card slot and a 13MP camera with OIS+. Leaked screenshots have also given us a glimpse of the new Optimus UI that will debut with the G3.
With still more than two weeks left for the handset to be unveiled, here’s hoping that LG manages to keep something about the G3 under wraps.
