Huawei Honor 7i

Considering how prevalent selfies are these days, phone manufacturers are doing their best to pack the best cameras possible on the front of their devices.

Huawei is no stranger to selfies, so the company has decided to skip trying to make a great front-facing camera, and just opted to use the camera that’s traditionally positioned on the back of a handset instead. Similar to the Oppo N1’s idea of a camera that functions both as the rear- and front-facing shooter, the Huawei Honor 7i boasts a 13MP camera that can do the same thing, albeit with an even more unique design.

That camera has an f/2.0 aperture, and its sits behind a sapphire crystal lens. The flash sits on the same swivel. Another unique feature: The fingerprint sensor on the Honor 7i is actually on the side of the device, unlike other handsets out there in the world.

As far as the other features go, the Honor 7i boasts a 5.2-inch 1080p HD display, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor under the hood. There are two variants: the 16GB with 2GB of RAM, or 32GB with 3GB of RAM.

The Honor 7i is available right now in China, but there’s no word on whether or not it will expand to other territories. It’s on offer for about $250.
