Earlier this year, Huawei officially unveiled its own Android Wear-based smartwatch, simply called the Huawei Watch. Unfortunately, at the time, launch dates and pricing weren’t readily available.
That has changed today, August 28, as the Huawei Watch is now available to pre-order from Amazon. According to the online retailer, the Huawei Watch will become available on September 2, and pricing begins at $349.99, with six different models to choose from. Here’s the list:
- Stainless Steel with Black suture leather strap: $349.99
- Stainless Steel with Stainless Steel mesh strap: $399.99
- Stainless Steel with Stainless Steel link band: $399.99
- Black Stainless Steel with Black Stainless Steel link band: $449.99
- Gold-plated Stainless Steel with Brown suture leather strap: $699.99
- Gold-plated Stainless Steel with Gold-plated Stainless Steel link band: $799.99
As one can immediately determine, the Huawei Watch has some expensive options, while the specifications for each of the watch stay the same. That includes a 1.4-inch round AMOLED display with a resolution of 400×400, which is covered by sapphire glass. There’s a Qualcomm processor under the hood running the show, along with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage and the battery is measured in at 300mAh.
What do you think of the Huawei Watch? Do you plan on picking one up?
