In just over two weeks from now, Huawei would be unveiling its much-anticipated flagship, the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, in Munich. Ruining the company’s surprise is prolific leaker @evleaks who has posted an official press render of the Mate 10 Pro.

The press render gives us a clear look at the bezel-less front of the Mate 10 Pro, which is similar to other bezel-less devices out there like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG V30. It is the rear of the device with its dual-camera setup which is interesting. The rear of the device has a two-tone finish which gives it a unique look. While we have seen OEMs like Google go for a two-tone finish in their handsets, Huawei’s approach is a bit more polarising.

The press renders also confirms that the primary shooter on the Mate 10 Pro will feature an f/1.6 aperture sensor. Going by Huawei’s previous track record, it is possible that the primary sensor will feature a 12MP resolution while the secondary monochrome sensor will feature a 20MP resolution.

In terms of specs, the Mate 10 Pro will sport a 5.9-inch 2160 x 1080 resolution display with a 2:1 aspect ratio display. It will be powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 970 chipset which will feature a dedicated AI processor. Other rumored specs of the device include 4/6GB RAM, 64/128GB of storage, a microSD card slot, metal unibody design, NFC, USB-C with fast charging, 4,000mAh battery, and more. On the software front, the Mate 10 Pro is expected to launch with Emotion UI 6 based on Android 7.1 Nougat.

Huawei will also be launching a smaller Mate 10 alongside the Mate 10 Pro with watered down internals at its October 16th event.

Huawei’s flagship Mate series of handsets have traditionally done well in Europe so it will be interesting to see how the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro do this time around especially since they would be hitting the market at around the same time as the iPhone X.
