Earlier this year when HTC unveiled the One M8, it stated it would be bringing some of its Sense exclusive apps to other Android apps later this year.
Now, according to Re/code, HTC is all set to release the Zoe app — one of the most highlighted features of Sense UI to other Android devices sometime this week.
On HTC devices, Zoe allows users to create a 30-second highlight reel comprising of their favorite images and short video clips, on which they can add an appropriate theme and music. The Zoe app is already available on the Play Store, but it is only compatible with HTC devices at the moment. The company has also partnered with some music labels and artists to boost the interest in Zoe, though their names are still unknown.
HTC had also mentioned that it would be bringing its BlinkFeed app to other Android devices before the end of this year.
According to Re/code, HTC has setup a third business unit dubbed the HTC Creative Labs, where it will be building software and services for Android devices from all OEMs, and not just HTC.
