HTC has already promised that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update will be released within 90 days of the final version being released, and now it looks like a quick peek of what’s to come has surfaced.
A pair of screenshots that allegedly showcase not only Android 5.0 Lollipop, but also HTC’s next big update to their proprietary user interface, Sense, have surfaced online via YouMobile thanks to an anonymous tipster. The images showcase what’s believed to be a slightly redesigned Settings app, along with a look at the new battery monitor function. Both areas are showcasing a new color scheme, along with a slightly tweaked font. The stats themselves are displayed on cards, which is a good indication that this could indeed be showcasing the changes coming within Android 5.0.
Moreover, the hamburger icon that can be seen in the top-left corner of the “Battery History” section looks reminiscent of the same one used within the Google Play Store after its Material Design makeover.
Does this mean this is the real deal? Of course not. These images could be faked, so take them for what they are with a grain of salt.
If these are the real deal, though, what do you think of the changes HTC is making?
