According to HTC’s VP of Product Management Mo Versi, the Taiwanese OEM plans on rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Google Play edition of the HTC One from “early next week.”
However, @moversi failed to specify whether the company will be rolling out the update for the One (M8) or One (M7) or for both devices. Other Google Play edition devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Z Ultra from Sony are also yet to receive the Lollipop OTA update.
@amir_thedude Target is early next week. Thanks.

HTC has already promised on updating the Sense variant of the HTC One to Lollipop within 90 days of the source code being released by Google to the public.
Besides the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and the Nexus 10, the only other devices to be upgraded to Lollipop are the new Moto X and Moto G in the United States. However, source built Lollipop ROMs have already popped up for the OnePlus One, Nexus 4, Desire 816 and other devices popular among the developers.
