Yesterday I shared some photos of what Android 4.2.2 looks like on the HTC One in Hong Kong. Admittedly those screenshots weren’t the best in the world, and I’m sorry about that. Today, however, I’m happy to report that Android 4.2.2 is being pushed out to One owners in Taiwan.

Now I know what you’re thinking, when will this update land in my respective country? Well, I have some good news and some bad news for you. First the good news. If you have an unlocked HTC One, I have no doubt in my mind that you’ll get this update within the next 60 days. Most likely the next 30 days. But if you bought your HTC One from your operator, and they mucked about inside the software, you could be waiting months.

I found this four minute video demoing some of the new features of the update. It’s not the best, I’m warning you right now, but it gets the basic point across. Goodbye on-screen menu button!
