The HTC One mini is now officially official. While I can’t find the press release on HTC’s website, there are plenty of technology publications who have been emailed the press release.

So here’s what you need to know: 4.3 inch 720p screen, Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.4 GHz, 1GB of RAM, the same UltraPixel camera that’s in the One, but without optical image stabilization, the same BoomSound speakers as the One, and a an 1800 mAh battery. In terms of physical dimensions: 132 mm x 63.2 mm x 9.25 mm at 122 grams.

Price and date? No price, August in Europe, September in the rest of the world.

Update: Best-Boyz (I trust them) says 449 EUR in Germany and Austria.

Storage? 16 GB, no microSD card slot. Sorry.

Update: An English video! Finally! Putting this on top.

Update: This phone looks a trillion times better in black.

Two German sites each have a hands-on video with the One mini (note the lowercase “m”). The one on top is far shorter than the one on the bottom. These aren’t in English, but that shouldn’t be an issue.

Update: One more video, less than five minutes long, still in German.
