HTC One ME

HTC has no problems with announcing devices, even when they’ve already announced the year’s flagship smartphone. Now, they’re adding to the ranks yet again.

Late on Wednesday night, HTC officially announced the One ME. It’s been unveiled via an official product page on HTC China’s website [translated], and showcases the plethora of features baked into the handset. The One ME features a design aesthetic that’s similar to the One M9+ and the E9+, including the same 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440. On the back of the handset, there’s a 20MP camera, while a fingerprint reader is on board as well.

Inside, the One ME features a MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, paired with 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot for extra storage. There’s a 4MP front-facing camera, it has 4G LTE-connectivity, and the battery measures in at 2840mAh.

It comes in three colors: Meteor Gray, Rose Gold and Gold Sepia. It appears to be bound for Asia-only at this point, but that could change in the future. As far as how much it will cost, that is unknown as well.
