On October 10, the One (M8) in Europe started receiving the EYE Experience update, which made plenty of Europeans happy. Now, for those under Verizon’s umbrella in the United States, the wait is over.
Before the update started rolling out to European One (M8) owners, HTC confirmed that the EYE Experience, which adds plenty of features to the exiting camera functionality in the high-end flagship device, would land on plenty of other HTC-branded handsets in the near future. Sure enough, and as expected, the Verizon-branded version of the One (M8) is now receiving the update.
As confirmed by Droid-Life, the update is now rolling out to One (M8) owners. After updating, device owners will get better face tracking with their camera, especially with multiple people in a room. There’s also a screen sharing feature, Split Camera — which allows to record video and take photos simultaneously with both the front- and rear-facing cameras — and and more.
The update itself measures in at 210.5MB. Have you received the update?
