The HTC One (M8) has been seeing plenty of attention when it comes to updates on other networks, including Sprint and T-Mobile, and now it’s AT&T’s turn. Thanks to HTC Product Manager Leigh Momii, it’s been confirmed that the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update is now rolling out to AT&T-branded One (M8) handsets.
Unfortunately, neither HTC or AT&T have published the official changelog as of the time of this writing, but a quick look at what has been brought over to the other variants is a pretty good way to see what is probably new in AT&T’s device. That would include security fixes, overall camera improvements and optimizations, some new Sense 6 features, and improvements made to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Plus more, probably, with plenty of bug squashing to go around.
The update is now rolling out to One (M8) owners, so you should get a notification soon that an update is ready for your device. Or, keep on checking on your own time. You might not receive it today, as these updates tend to take some time to reach every owner, but you should see it soon.
Have you updated your One (M8) to Android 4.4.3?
