HTC One Duo Camera

The All New HTC One is no mystery device. However, the functioning of its unique dual camera arrangement on the back was still somewhat of a secret to us. However, a brochure from Australian carrier Telstra has revealed quite a lot about this new ‘Duo Camera’. As most of you might have suspected, this twin setup will be utilized for better focusing of pictures along with improved low-light photography.

The focusing features are also present in the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S5, LG G Pro 2 as well as the Sony Xperia Z2, so it’s only logical that HTC would try to implement a similar functionality. But the new HTC One will have an edge over the competition thanks to that second camera sensor. The leaked brochure also reveals the presence of 3D effects for pictures. Unfortunately, this doesn’t provide information on the resolution of the camera sensors.

It is further claimed that the smartphone will feature an LG Knock On-like option which will wake up the device with two taps on the display. The carrier claims that the new HTC One will cost AUD 840 at the time of the launch which is around $750, so it might not go easy on your wallets, as is expected from a flagship device.
