HTC M8 Ace shows up in annoyingly blurry press render

With the HTC One M8 now available in the market, the Taiwanese manufacturer will be looking forward to launching a couple of spin-offs based on its latest flagship. Today, evleaks has leaked a press render of one of those spin-offs, titled the HTC ‘M8 Ace.’ Sadly, the name is all we’re getting here, as it’s one of the most unclear renders we’ve ever seen.

By the looks of it, the M8 Ace could be a large screen version of the new One, like the One Max from last year. HTC’s trademark BoomSound speakers seem to be present as well, but it’s unclear if HTC has gone with a new speaker grill design or if the blurry nature of the image is simply hiding the existing design. In fact, it’s possible there are no front-facing speakers on this thing, especially if it’s a mid-range device similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Ace lineup – hopefully that’s not the case, or consumers will be even less forgiving about the unnecessary bezels at the top and bottom.

Well, I guess this is one of those images that makes it tough to even speculate, though now that the leaks have started, we’ll probably be seeing more details popping up very soon.
