HTC has been named an Android Wear partner ever since the wearable platform was unveiled, but the company has yet to actually launch anything.

Not that rumors haven’t suggested the company could be gearing up to launch a wearable at any moment. But those rumors have quieted down as of late, until recently, when what appears to be a brand new wearable appeared in leaked images to the social network Weibo. The images appear to show a smartwatch with the HTC and Under Armour branding in place on the bottom of the body of the watch.

Unfortunately, any other details regarding the device remain unknown. It has been rumored in the past that the wearable will feature a 360×360 round display, but other than that, the specs are unknown.

We can see in the “About” screen in one of the images that “Halfbeak” appears, which has been rumored to be the codename for HTC’s first wearable, which would appear to confirm this is indeed the device that could land on the market soon.

What do you think of the Halfbeak?
