Google officially announced their launch plans for Android 5.0 Lollipop, unveiling not only the HTC Nexus 9, but also the Motorola Nexus 6. For owners of the One (M7) and One (M8), there’s good news.
While Motorola was quick to announce their own Lollipop upgrade plans for several devices, HTC has only opened up about their latest One-branded flagship devices, the One (M7) and One (M8). According to a report initially published by HTC Source, the manufacturer plans on updating the pair of handsets within 90 days of the official release of the code. While it’s not an exact date, it does give us a window to look forward to.
The Nexus 9 goes on sale on November 3, which means that the One (M7) and One (M8) can expected to be updated between then and the first week of February, barring any unforeseen issues that may come up.
Are you planning on waiting it out for the update, or do you plan on picking up a Nexus 9 or Nexus 6?
