HTC is going to get together with Chunghwa Telecom on June 19th to talk about two new smartphones: the Desire 600 and the Butterfly S. Now the Desire 600 you already know about. It’s basically a 4.5 inch version of the One that’s made out of a solid square block of plastic. The Butterfly S on the other hand, that’s the mystery device.

According to rumors, it’s going to have the same 5 inch 1080p panel as the original Butterfly, though the camera will be replaced with the same UltraPixel module seen in the One. It’ll also have a larger battery, though there’s no word as to an upgraded processor. I hope it’ll have a Snapdragon 600, but I’m not holding my breath for that to happen.

My colleague Richard over at Engadget might actually go to the launch event, so as soon as he knows something, I’ll know something. I just hope that something is actually worth sharing.
