All eyes are on April 12 at this point, as HTC has circled the date for when it will announce its next flagship, the HTC 10.

But while that device will probably get released before September, some folks that like a “smaller” display may want to wait until the later month, especially if the rumors accompanying the screen size are to be believed. According to a new report, the HTC 10 Mini will boast a 4.7-inch display, which, of course, isn’t all that “mini,” but considering screen sizes have only increased over the last several years, it’s not all that surprising.

In the same report, it’s said that the Mini variant of the HTC 10 will actually boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 under the hood. That means, if this is true, it will have a slightly improved processor than what’s expected to be installed in the HTC 10 proper (which is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820). The HTC 10 Mini is also said to boast 4GB of RAM for good measure.

That seems like a strange move, especially for a device that will obviously attract a different crop of buyers later in the year, and with its screen size, but anything is possible.

If the HTC 10 Mini exists, and it does indeed have these high-end specs, will you consider that one over the flagship HTC 10?
