Earlier this year, when Motorola revealed the Moto Z and Moto Z Force, they launched the new devices with plenty of different MotoMods to accessorize the flagship handsets.
Unfortunately, one of those MotoMods didn’t make the cut: the external camera MotoMod. Earlier leaks had already told the world it existed, but apparently Motorola wasn’t ready to launch it along with the handsets earlier this year. But, luckily for anyone that was hoping to pick it up in the future, it looks like the camera addition is still on the way.
Moto G3 got their hands on a photo that shows the Hasselblad-branded MotoMod in a full close-up. The image shows us it will feature a 10X optical zoom, but unfortunately any additional details remain to be seen. There’s no word on the megapixel count of the MotoMod, for instance. The pricing is also unknown at this point.
Still, knowing the Hasselblad MotoMod is still on the way is good news, and it’s believed it could be announced at this year’s IFA in September, so the wait shouldn’t be too long.
Did you pick up a Moto Z?
