The next time you do a Google Search from your Android smartphone (or tablet) for your favourite artist, music, TV show or movie, you will be greeted with more contextually relevant information in a beautiful layout. The changes were announced by Google in a brief blog post.

The feature is not completely new, since searching for artists or popular movies on Google Search already displayed the results in a different layout with all the important information relevant to the search term. That same layout has now been refined and displays even more information.

Google Search on Android enhanced

For example, when you search for a singer, not only will you get an overview about him or her, but also tabs listing their songs, albums, their upcoming events and more. Similarly, searching for movies will also bring up its overview and other information relevant to it including similar movies that people search for.

Google is slowly rolling out this feature to all Android users, with iOS devices to get the update in the future.
