There have been rumors off-and-on over the years that Google is planning on launching a smartwatch. And now they are alive and kicking all over again.
In a very brief tweet on Thursday, serial leaker Evan Blass has revealed that he has heard from a “reliable source” that Google is going to launch a Pixel-branded smartwatch later this year. At the same time, Google will indeed launch a Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL smartphone combo to follow up last year’s flagship phones.
If that’s not enough, Google will also be ready to launch a second-generation Pixel Buds as well.
Besides the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, and second-gen Pixel Buds, a reliable source tells me — with high confidence — that Google's fall hardware event will also introduce a Pixel-branded watch. Have a great summer!

Unfortunately, that’s about all we have to go on. But it sounds like Google is going to have a worthwhile hardware announcement later this year.
