Google is already launching its own virtual reality headset for its Daydream platform, and it’s also rumored to be launching its own Android smartphone, too.

So now there’s another rumor surfacing that suggests Google’s aspirations for its own hardware continues to expand the already-present Pixel lineup, and what’s being rumored for later this year. According to Android Police, Google is currently hard at work on a pair of Android Wear-based smartwatches, one codenamed Angelfish and the other codenamed Swordfish.

The Angelfish is the high-end model of the two, featuring a circular design, no “flat-tire,” three hardware buttons along the right edge of the casing, and a design that looks like a combination of an LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE and Motorola’s second-generation Moto 360. It’s also said to feature a heart-rate monitor, GPS, and cellular-connectivity.

As for the Swordfish, this device’s main draw could be its support for MODE straps, which the Angelfish apparently does not support. The lower-end option will feature only a single physical button/crown on the right side of the casing, and it won’t feature GPS or cellular-connectivity — and possibly not even a heart-rate monitor.

Google Assistant will apparently be available on both smartwatches as well, but details are light on that particular part of the rumor.
