With little fanfare, Google started selling a white version of its Nexus 7 tablet. The WiFi-only white version is available in 32GB capacity with a price tag of $269. There is no 16GB or LTE model, but hey, it’s white, right?
In a somewhat unusual design choice, Google decided to keep the front bezel back. You have a slight oreo cookie effect with a white back and black front. Under the hood, the white model is identical to the black one with the same high-resolution 1920×1200 HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM.
As of the writing of this post, the white Nexus 7 is still in stock with shipping estimates of 1 – 2 business days. If you want a white Nexus 7, don’t delay as stock of this white model may be limited. If you do jump on this tablet, don’t forget to grab a Chromecast. Google is offering a $35 Play Store voucher when you buy a new Nexus 7 along with a Chromecast.
