Stock Android Email app

Google has just released the stock Android Email app on the Play Store for easily and constantly updating it down the line. Don’t confuse this app with the stock Gmail app though. Both are very much different and serve different purposes.

Google has also taken this opportunity to fix some bugs, improve the security level and add printing support to the app.

Currently, the app is only available for the Nexus and Google Play edition devices on the Play Store. If you are running bone stock Android on your device, the update should already be live for you on the Play Store.

For some reason best unknown to us, the Email app update is not compatible with the Google Play edition HTC One M7 and the Galaxy S4.

You can find the Play Store listing of the Email app here.
